Dreamhonestly goes Turkey

So today I'm leaving to Turkey for two weeks, it's time to relax and enjoy the summer with my lovely friends. 

I can definitely use some vacation, we're ready for finally some sunshine, the beach, bikini's, icecreams, happiness, party, drinks, laughter, swimming, fruit, rest, coconuts, the smell of suntan and of course the quality time with my best girls.

My look for today: See the world in black and white

I promised to you guys that I would shoot a new look with my new vintage bikerjacket, so here it issss! Even though it was cold and there was seriously no sunshine(summer in Holland), I needed to take some pictures, because tomorrow I'll go on a vacation for two weeks.. Finally I'll see some sunshine and can I wear my favorite summer outfits and of course my new bikini's, yaaay! But first my black and white ' My look for today' with an edgy twist. So what am I wearing? It's seriously a simple outfit, the amazing (grey)dress with skulls and spikes is just from H&M, the same as all the (gold) rings and the fringed (black) bagpack. The (black) beanie is from Comegetfashion, you can't have enough beanies.. And of course the bikerjacket is a leathered vintage one from England! The boots are from Primark, I'm so obsessed with them.. The two (golden) necklaces are jewelry from my grandmother, still miss here everyday.. The (golden) bodychain was a birthday present and the bracelets are as always mixed (golden) jewerly from shops like H&M, Primark and some vintage pieces. Kiss

So what am I doing from to day to day? Besides going to school, eat and sleep, I do have a life actually.. Once in a few weeks I'll give you a small look in my life through some pictures!

1# So I went shopping today with my lovely friends and I bought an amazing cut-out dress.. At first I didn't even wanted him(I'm a poor student), but I'm so happy that my friends convinced me to take it anyway, thankss!! 2# Last weekend I've had a field hockey clinic from the best Dutch hockey players in the Netherlands, what an experience.. 3# Quality time with my best girlfriend in the world.. 4# Dinner with mommy and daddy, delicious dessert! 5# Last time partying at my favorite place for the last years, goodbye Leeuwarden. 6# Finally we've had one day of summer in the Netherlands, so what do you do? Yeahh let's go to the beacheach, let's go get awayayy! 7# And when you're on the beach, you need to get an icecream! 8# My beautiful vintage bikerjacket.. 9# Sushi time with my friends, ooops second time this week.. 10# Shot from my runwayshow a few weeks a go! 11# Sadly after so many years of playing the most amazing sport in the whole wide world, it was time for my last official field hockey match! I'll miss it so bad.. 12# Jewelry with my new striped maxi dress! 13# Sunshine, drinks and my new neon espadrilles.. 14# My new earcuff, uff so beautiful!! 15# Dinnertime, made my hair a little bit lighter!

DIY gladiator sandals

Aaah I found a new DIY that I really really like, gladiator sandals but with a special twist. We all know the short gladiator shoes, with an heel and without an heel. But for this summer we see gladiator shoes up till the knee, awesome!! Different designers like Versace, Acne and Altuzarra showed their version of these beauties on the runway. So shoes with an edgy twist, fully closed with a few cut outs or simple versions like the ones from Alexander Wang. And these simple gladiator heels are transformed into a DIY gladiator sandals by of course Apairandaspare.. They are simply amazing, can't wait to make my own!! New in: Vintage bikerjacket

Aaaaah I found the most amazing vintage bikerjacket I've ever seen.. It's a leather bikerjacket from the fifties made in England, I'm in love! After finishing most of the assignments and presentations for school my friend and I decided to get an icecream and surprisingly there was a flea market. Awesome, I like vintageeee! So with a little bit of a rush we looked at all kind of vintage stuff, the icecream was waithing.. Untill my friend saw this amazing jacket and wanted me to try it on. I did and I couldn't take it of anymore.. I can't wait to wear it with a rough jeans and boots or with a sophisticated cut-out dress and soft espadrilles! I can picture myself with every kind of look.. Sooo next week I'll be posting a new look 'My look for today' with of course my new vintage bikerjacket, stay tuned!!

Oriental prints

Prints, prints and prints.. I do love prints, especially the oriental prints! It's the trend for this summer and it will continue in the Winter of 2013, yeahhh!! De oosterse invloeden bereiken dan toch eindelijk ook onze westerse cultuur! Dus de moderne geisha look en de Japans geinspireerde prints zien we terug in prachtige tops van Miuccia Prada en natuurlijk onder andere de beroemde tijger trui van Kenzo. We zien geweldig chinees geborduurde bomberjackets en fantastische motieven op kimono's, maar natuurlijk ook gewoon op simpele tops, schoenen en tassen! Voor iedereen wat wils want er zijn erg veel verschillende motieven; erg druk en compact, maar ook simpel met enkele symbolen uit de oosterse cultuur! I really like it, I'll be searching for my perfect piece or maybe even pieces.. Awesome, take a look!

''She has the kind of smile that says ''You don't know me, and you never will.'' Wauw what a powerful quote, but at the same time so weird.. Because you have no idea what it can mean! I don't even know why I've chosen this quote today, maybe because after a few years of struggling with myself I finally know who I am? People who think they know me, have no idea who I am and to be honest; most of them don't even deserve it.. I mean where were they when I needed them? Exactly.. But on the other side and you can tell me if it's negative or not, I'm careful with 'new' people in my life.. 'So most of them know my smile, but don't know me and they never will.'' On this planet there are so many people that know what's the best for you, even though they have no idea who you are.. The thing that I've learned for the last years is that not everyone has to like you or know you, you just need to like yourself for who you are..

So this is my second edition of my wishlist, what means my list with all kind of stuff that I simply want to have.. And as you read just some personal thoughts, things that were on my mind today!

Oh goshh, I'm still in love with the Balenciaga shoes. And even though they are already a little bit 'old', I can't get them of my mind.. So when you are searching for my perfect present! Orrrr you can give me these perfect sunglasses from Super! I've been looking for sunglasses like these, but couldn't find the right ones.. Now I finally find one, I've run out of money. - Some things you can only dream about - But there are still things that I can afford, thank god.. I really like tops with quotes, specially when they relate to my personal life! This one is from Forever21, awesome.. And of course the backpack, can't get enough of them! Love this fringed one from New Look. I like, like, like beanies and yes also when it's too hot to wear one haha, this one is from Comegetfashion. The perfect boyfriend jeans that you really need in your closet! Even though it's still missing in mine.. This one is just from H&M. The peace ring and necklace with small crosses are just beautiful.. The ring is from Romwe and the necklace also from Forever21!

Dreamhonestly goes Denmark

Hi guys, I have a short announcement to make; I'm going to Denmark for a new adventure! In about two months I'm going to study abroad and I'm so exciting.. As you maybe know I study Small Business & Retail Management, specialized in fashion. To learn more about the fashion part, I got the opportunity to go to Denmark with 3 of my best friends. We are going to study at TEKO, Scandinavia's largest design and business academy within the fashion and lifestye industry. Awesomeeee!! The course that we are going to follow is Retail Design - Fashion and Furniture, so besides the business part we will also learn to transform sketches and drawings into actions and we will be able to keep track of the entire design process. Even though we did this earlier this year in a small project, I really enjoyed it!! I'm ready to expand this knowledge and maybe expertise myself at it.. 

So this is also the reason why I'm a little bit absent for the last weeks, I want to leave the Netherlands without unfinished projects and resits, the pressure is high! In about two weeks it will be done and I can finally enjoy my summer vacation, and of course amuse you guys with everything I saw and loved for the last few weeks! Stay tuned..

1# Bought a beautiful fingerclutch last summer and still like it! 2/3# Sushi time with my lovely cousins, had a great time with them.. 4# My instagram picture for telling that my new outfit was onlineee! 5# I'm so in love with The xx, such an amazing band! Can listen to it for hours and of course I went to The great gatsby, what a movie.. 6# My new aztec crop top, same as my last outfit post! 7/8# So I went to an amazing festival; Fusion of Dance, best day and night since a long time.. 9# My new top, and you know what; it's from the thrift store.. Only 2 euro's, I'm so happy hihi. 10# Back to my childhood, delicious ice cream.. 11# Little bit of photoshop.. 12# Shopping time with my best friend, love her! 13# Close up of my vintage photoshoot! 14/15# Yesterday I had another runway show, so this was my first of the three outfits and of course some cheeky photo's while we were waiting. Oh goshhh I'm so in love with my new necklace.. When I saw this beauty there was no thinking possible, ''I need to have it!!'' I was just on the right track of saving money, in stead of buying everything I liked, mission failed.. At least that was what I thought at that moment, but than I remembered that I was still waiting for my birthday present from my little brother.. My birthday was on the fifth of April so I called him and said I had found my birthday present, surprisingly he said yes!! My day couldn't be better, there was sun, no school, friends, ice cream and my new necklace.. So this is my musthave at this moment, Who said you can't be in love with things, I can..
