Dreamhonestly goes Denmark #1

First of all I’m so, so, so sorry for not posting anything the last week. Last Friday I went to Denmark for an half a year, everything was a little bit hectic and of course there is no internet connection – great.. In one of my previous posts you can read why and what I’m going to do here! But for now my first update about my first days here in Denmark. 

So as I said Friday was the first day of my new adventure, finally! I was so excited and the day was finally there to go and achieve one of my dreams.. After a long, long trip with an overloaded car we arrived in Herning – Denmark. A small but very cozy city where I’ll stay for the coming months! I was the first one of the girls, but thankfully I had my parents with me so I was not lonely at all. A few hours later one of my friends arrived with her parents and sisters – one big family, it was a lovely first evening! The next day we said goodbye to our families and went back to our apartment unpacking our suitcases. After 1,5 day we were finally ready and I can say that my room is seriously my room. Exactly how I wanted it to be! It’s weird or maybe not weird at all but I immediately felt home here in Herning, but also in our apartment. It felt good and It still does.. 

Well after a few days of relaxing and welcoming our other friend, it was time to get back to reality and go to school! Today it's my third day at school and I like it more and more, of course the first week is an introduction with all kind of Danish and exchange students. It’s a mix of so many different kind of people, you can easily pick out the introvert and extrovert people just by the way they are dressed. Everyone is wearing what they want to wear, exactly what I needed. No people that are staring at you or giving you weird faces, it’s heaven.. 

We’ve done a lot of ‘mind fucking’ things! We’ve had a lecture about believing in yourself and believing in your dreams and about finding trust in other people by networking. We’ve done assignments about trying to explore the real you, who are you and what are your goals? Who is the one that can help you with achieving your goals? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your experiences through the years and how did you become the real you? All kind of questions that made you think of who you are and who you want to be.. Yes really it’s really ‘mind fucking’ but I’ve learned a lot!

I’m really curious how the next weeks will be, until now it’s great and wouldn’t change a thing! Stay tuned for a new Dreamhonestly goes Denmark in a few weeks! See you, kiss
