Last weekend we went to the grand opening of this amazing vintage store in Herning - Denmark, called; Magpie Lane! Actually they had a cute little store in Herning, but it was time to expand their store to a much bigger location, wauwww. To be honest, I didn't expected this.. It was so beautiful, of course the smaller location was amazing as well but this location is just perfect. It's very open and clean, but at the same time very cozy and you really feel welcome in the store! Of course the clothes are the most important part in the store and they are wonderful.. There are so many different styles, in my opinion everybody can find their perfect piece.. Different colors, patterns, textiles, vintage periods, textures and you can even buy designer pieces as for example; Yves Saint Laurent, Moschino and Armani! Some of the most amazing pieces were shown at the fashion show in the store, the models were wearing a really big afro wig what was giving a great contrast with the clothes. All the attention went to the vintage pieces, I liked the idea! Magpie Lane has vintage pieces for women and man of every age - so there are no excuses possible.. Besides consuming cake, cake pops, champagne and listening to live music I tried a lot of vintage pieces and I guess it was my lucky day - I bought an amazing vintage top that is shown below!
