So finally I'm posting the results of my photoshoot from a few weeks ago and I'm so excited.. As you maybe already know I was asked by another exchange student to be her model for her spectacular work at TEKO. Her name is Kristina Krukoyté and she's from Lithuania. She is a 3th year student in fashion design at Vilius College of Design and at this moment she studies fashion design at TEKO. Kristina has a recognizable style; she likes to work with natural materials or use ethnic techniques and I think you really need to remember her name, she's so talented!! For this assignment she needed to choose one sculpture and use it like an inspiration. ''So I choose the sculpture of Daniel Widrig: 'Brickworks' and mixed this inspiration with two other sculptures: 'Honeycomb and a traditional Lithuanian interior decoration called: 'gardens' - Kristina.'' With this final piece she wanted to show how the connection between nature an human looks like - and in my opinion she did a really good job..
In the end I'm showing a few pictures of the talented Monika Pranckaityté, she is also an exchange student at TEKO and had the same assignment as Kristina. Her model is Sarah Wolfsteller, maybe you know her as the Fashionexchanger.. If not, you need to check her out!! Next week she'll post her story about Monika and her sculpture and of course the photoshoot, so you stay tuned as her blog as well. I was honored to shoot her together with Anja and maybe you know her from Modestudent, worth to check!!
Hopefully I made you really, really curious! Take a look and enjoy..
